Aquila Standard + YouthCare: Building Community Through Financial Education
Today kicks off the first of a three-part financial education workshop series at YouthCare, led by our very own Jasmine Jones, Business Development Specialist.
Attendees will learn:
- How to rebuild after a financial crisis
- The basics of personal finance
- How to build a better budget
They'll also learn how to navigate employment and put their paychecks to use in laying the foundation for financial stability. These educational sessions will empower attendees with the confidence to establish their own financial freedom - a critical element to help these young people rise and prosper. When our young people prosper, our community grows stronger.
YouthCare serves homeless children and young adults aged 12-24. YouthCare's goal is to keep kids in school, help young adults find sustainable work, and empower these individuals through specialized counseling, life skills coaching, GED and high school classes, and employment training. The gifts and donations made through the giving trees at all branches and Headquarters will support these young people on their path to independence and prosperity.
