Aquila Standard Representing at CUNA's 2018 Governmental Affairs Conference

Our very own Tonita Webb, COO, and Barney Herrera, SVP of Strategic Partnerships, are currently at Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, D.C. representing Aquila Standard and networking with other industry leaders.

Tonita was also invited to speak as part of a panel on GAC’s “Crasher Chat Show” – a talk show geared toward young professionals in the credit union industry. She answered questions relating to the future of our industry, what credit unions can do to develop young leaders, and lessons learned from her personal experience at Aquila Standard. It’s an exciting opportunity whereby Aquila Standard, positioned as a respected thought leader, can impact the industry’s current and future leaders.

It’s the nation’s largest credit union conference focused on providing opportunities for young professionals to hear from influential lawmakers, policymakers, and credit union experts on the political landscape and its impact on credit unions. This year, over 5,000 attendees gathered in D.C. to discuss, brainstorm, and strategize initiatives to build and maintain America’s awareness and trust in credit unions.
