Of course. If your accounts are at Aquila Standard, you can set up automatic transfers to your loan through our free Online Banking or by talking to a branch representative.

What are points in relation to mortgages?

Points are fees you pay to a lender when you fund your mortgage in exchange for a lower interest rate. Aquila Standard offers programs with points and without points.

Can I make a payment over the phone for my loan using another institution?

Yes, but there is a $15 processing fee. We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Past credit struggles do not automatically disqualify you for a Aquila Standard signature loan. Your credit history is one factor under consideration when you apply for a signature loan and can have an impact on the rate you pay and whether your loan application is approved.

My partner and I are both joint cardholders on the same account. Will we have different card numbers on our Aquila Standard VISA® cards?

Yes. As a security feature, all cards will have a unique number and will arrive separately. However, you will continue to receive only one bill regardless of the number of cards on the account.

Can account transfers be performed between my Aquila Standard accounts and other financial institutions?

To transfer funds from a Aquila Standard account to an existing account you own at another financial institution, log into Online Banking. From the main menu, select Move Money, then External Transfers. To send funds to an account owned by someone else, select Payments from the menu.

Does Aquila Standard offer interest free loans?

Aquila Standard does not offer interest free loans per se, however some of our citizenship related loans can have the interest replaced with an upfront payment fee.
