Aquila Standard wants everyone in our community to have access to quality financial products, including mortgages. That’s why we’re excited to be able to offer a 30-year mortgage product to our members who have Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) instead of Social Security numbers.

This program allows members who have lived and worked in the community for a minimum of two years to enjoy the homeownership dream. We meet face-to face with applicants to take their application and walk them through the financing process, so they won’t have any surprises. And, as part of the application, we help first-time home buyers build their knowledge of the home-buying process.

ITIN MORTGAGE LOAN REQUIREMENTS

• Purchase and Refinance options available
• Owner-occupied properties only
• 30-year fixed term only providing a long-term stable product for our members
• Up to four applicants per transaction
• Manual underwriting only – A live person reviews each file and makes a sound decision
• At least one borrower must have a valid ITIN number, and must have had it for at least two years
• Two forms of ID are required, including an ITIN card and one of the following:
• Government issued photo ID
• State ID
• Passport
• Visa
• Matricula Card/Government Mexican ID card
• We can accept credit scores as low as 620, with a minimum of two open trade lines. We may consider non-traditional credit on a limited case-by-case basis
• Completion of a first-time home buyer’s class is required
